I've been thinking....

I remember reading about how dangerous clumping cat litter is for cats.
It can get stuck in their rectum or they ingest it, thereby causing a
blockage. I asked my cat vets about this, um, statement. They said they
had heard/read about it too but they have never, in eleven + years of
practice seen any problems with it. Neither have any of their local peers.

Does someone have actual documentation of this happening? I've heard the
same theory with ferrets and was wondering if it was all conjecture. No
flames please, just wondering.

Please post to the FML or send the documentation directly to me. :o)
