I would like to voice my support in regards to The Ferret Store. As
mentioned in their letter, people are going to get this stuff somewhere,
as long as it's produced. By following TFS's proposed scheme of noting
the best treats and foods, but still offering the crap stuff, the people
who go looking for the crap stuff will actually find that it isn't good
for their ferrets, rather than just not finding it and looking elsewhere.

REMEMBER, FOLKS, EDUCATION IS KEY!!!!!

The Ferret Store seems to believe this, as they offer thousands of
dollars in discounts per year to ferret shelters and organizations, as
well as monetary donations that number in the tens of thousands of
dollars to clubs for ferret shows. If you've never been to a ferret
show, you don't realize what a plethora of information is available at
these gatherings, for both seasoned and novice owners alike. If it
wasn't for TFS, the majority of recent shows would not have been
sponsored fully. This affects not only those that attend the show, but
the organizations that put these shows on. These are organizations that
promote proper care of ferrets, INCLUDING what foods and treats to feed.

Please realize that the best ways to get these products off the real and
cyber shelves are to:
1. Don't buy them!
2. Tell others not to buy them.
3. Petition or write a letter to the manufacturer of the product and ask
that they reformulate or do away with the harmful products.

Thank you for your time.
