In response to the lady who offered her ferrets a mouse, you said one of
them finally killed it but showed no interest in eating it..My little girl
Socks did that also..she tried to jump out of the tub with it to put it in
her hidey hole..WELL, I was going to have none of that, so I put her in her
cage with it and she put it in her food bowl..yuk!!!!..it took her a while
to eat it...I will skip the details..but suffice to say, the best time to
give it to your ferrets is when they are hungry.

My recently acquired Flemming farms ferret..."Oliver" is getting BIG...boy
Amy, you were not joking about the size potential in these guys, I took him
to the vets yesterday for his vaccination and at 21/2 months he weighed in
at a whopping 2lb 4oz...3 days ago on my scale he weighed 1lb 15 oz..if he
keeps this up..well i don't even want to think about it *G*

WE were at the pet store and Oliver picked out of a bin a pigs ear..AND
WOULD NOT LET GO OF IT, so I bought it..everyone at home kind of just
sniffed at it..and moved it around a bit...any dangers with pigs ears?
