What I didn't know until a friend pointed it out, is that almost ANY
water bottle will leak if it isn't filled right to the brim to begin
with.  (It doesn't hurt to check and make sure the little black washer is
in place in the lid before you start.) When you put the lid on with the
bottle filled to the top, it forms a better seal and you will experience
almost no dripping or leaking.  Almost to the top, and you will get
drips.  Maybe the 'direction for use' explains this to users, but I've
been given all my water bottles, so I've never seen instructions on how
to use.
