Well.....this is how he explained it to me....
 
The hunter ferret will not retrieve and wants the rabbit for itself.(food
issue) he will not drop the rabbit for anything,and will not bring it back.
Along comes the pilot ferret...he grabs the rabbit,dragging Hunter along
with it.(try giving your fert a section of pork chop ot steak.Pull on
it.Does he let go, or bite and hang on for dear life?  Mine wouldn't let go
if you shook it a bit even<not hard,folks, don't wanna brain damage your
ferts>) If Hunter let go, Pilot would scruff and drag him out of the
warren.
