From all the mail I got, the standard treatment seems to be Albon (and
heard mention of one other one). The problem is neither of these is what
Rox is taking. Our vet, Dr, Dan Johnson of Avian and Exotics has her on
(As close as I can come to reading doctor handwriting) SULFADOMETHOXONE
50mgml. He came as the highest recommended Ferret vet I could find in the
Raleigh, NC area. But, he admittedly said this was the first case of
Coccidea he found in a fert. Has anyone heard of sulfadomethoxone for
treatment of Coccidea in ferts? Should I ask him about Albon? Should I
get a new fert doc?

I'd like to thank everyone who gave me a recipe for duck soup. There were
so many that I can't even reply to all individually. I did, however, print
them all. I made some last night and had no problems feeding it to Roxy.
I used A/D, turkey and sweetpotato baby food, unflavored pedialyte, generic
suplament drink (cheaper than ensure with same ingredients), ferretvite,
brewers yeast, her regular kibble soaked till soft and nutri-cal. She
seemed to like it. Funny story, my dad thought the big blender of brown
liquid was a chocolate shake and took a big swig before he realized it
tasted like @#$%. LOLOLOL.

Many of you may remember I have to keep my ferts outside. However, I have
made a make shift cage out of bed sheets and two laundry baskets for Rox in
my room. She is way too sick and skinny to live outside right now. The
other two are twice her size, big and nice thick coats. They actually seem
to enjoy it outside.

Angie and Duchess (six pound terror dog), Chewie (very big extra light
silver male), Roxanne (dainty sable female), and Adrienne (never a bad
hair day extra light silver female).
