If you looked closely at Frettchen just before the ca-ca is oozed out of
the relaxed spinchter, you will have seen that his flanks are usually
touching the intersecting walls of his litter pan or the corner walls of
the living room - yeah, on the white carpet - and his tail bone is held
high aloft, frequently that anatomical appendage also in contact with the
opposing surface, but held as high as possible.

Now for U folk who do not post your ferrets to the digging grounds (as do
we here at the Frettchen Bastion of the North West) U likely have not
seen the effort of the ferret attempts when he cannot "touch" the wall
intersects outside in the digging grounds - 'cause there ain't none - to
tactillate. (brand new word just made up)//got something to do with
"tactile" or "touching.)

His pre-ca-ca jitters seem to be driven to some great heights of
nervousness as he "feels" with his flanks and ascending tail for that
familiar intersect, but much to his consternation, he can't seem to find.

I should like to give further consideration to this in a later posting and
relate this unique-to-ferrets behavior of the pre-ca-ca mode to the ferrets
preferential way of finding his tunnel entrance butt first. Maybe you've
seen this in the night films of the native American Black-footed Ferret.
Maybe not.

I've heard of tenderfoot (as in the Boy Scouts) but must confess: never
heard of a "tender" butt.

Could be it's not so much in the stern as it is in the paw pads. Sounds
weird, yes? Mo later on the research treatise entitled, Attitudinalistic
Dorsadic Prepositioning as a Precourser to Fecal Bolus Projecting in
Relation to Geopositioning Accuracy of the Unsighted Pelvic Dorsal Ishium
of the M. putorius furo. Research based on 27 case studies at FNW.

This posting to be considered an academic call for papers contributing to
the research objectives cited herein.
