We breed Albinos and they are as healthy as a horse.  We do not give them
any shots and I have never had a sick ferret.  It is the shots that get
them sick and give them Cancer.  I had a perfectly healthy Albino sold to
this lady that took it to the vet and gave it all the necessary shots and
two months later the ferret died of cancer of the spine in the exact same
spot the shot was given.  There needs to be more research done on those
shots that are out there for ferrets.  People are injecting their fuzzied
with the disease.
 
I have heard awful horror stories about ferrets that have had their shots.
My vet told me in secret that she does not recommend giving them shots.
They have been surviving centuries without the shots in the past.  They do
not get shots in the wild where they came from.  I have raised over 100
healthy Albinos, I have one that I have had for 10 years that has never
even had a cold.  Take Care!
