Did you all catch this piece in the Post this morning?  It was a brief but
positive mention of ferrets.
 
The article was about a young Marine sentry on his first assignment to guard
the President.  President Clinton was walking by with a small ferret tucked
under his arm.  The young Marine saluted smartly and said "Good morning sir,
nice looking ferret." President Clinton said "She's a certified champion.  I
got her for Hillary." The Marine sentry grinned real big, clicked his heels,
and said "OUTSTANDING TRADE SIR!"
 
I guess the President can get around the DC ferret ban.
