Hi,

I just wanted to let everyone know that I am Mr. August's proud mom in
this years' FML calendar. Teddy passed away almost two years ago, come
October. He was a wonderful ferret, chock full of personality. He
claimed my heart the instant I saw him in a pet store. He climbed the
cage repeatedly to look me in the eye and say, "Hey, take me home...I'm
the one you want!" He loved to hand wrestle, and would reach up and wrap
his paws around my arm and ask for a lift up. He loved stuffed animals
and beanie babies, and every Christmas he would launch attacks on my
2-foot parachute cloth Santa, dragging it off the coffee table and as far
away as he could. He was king of the towel surfers, too! He loved to
bob for toys in the ferret sized swimming pool and was the only one who
appreciated the rice dig box. He also had the biggest brown eyes. You
could just lose yourself in them.

I missTeddy, Gidget, BJ, Kelsey, Molly and Angel every day. I fear
Fozzie, my sole survivor, isn't long for this world now. He stopped
eating on his own yesterday. I think his heart is finally giving out,
after a year of treatment for cardio.

I'm so worried. I hate the thought of losing him, but I also know he
would be better off at the Bridge, where he would be free of his sick,
tired, and weak body. This is going to be a rough day.
