Well, I've been on pins and needles all week just sitting and waiting to
make a major announcement about Sean and Rocky.  It's funny, because I
was far more excited about telling you all, than I was my about telling
my own family!!  But it was not to be.
 
Last week, Sean and Rocky were asked to be on a x-mas edition of Montel
Williams.  The show was to be about inspiring pet stories.  I think they
went with a doggie instead.  But that's okay.  Isn't it just way too
cool that this almost happened???  The focus would have been their
relationship of course, a nice little edja-ma-ca-tion about ferrets
from Sean (if he had his way), and the neat book that their story was
published in (Jadesun has a neat story in there too!).  We were just too
excited to see a ferret featured in something so very mainstream.  And
in that regard I'm disappointed.  What a great memorial to such a great
little guy.
 
It's funny, Sean will probably not understand this "Sean and Rocky thing"
until he's older.  All he knows is that he's so loved by so many and he
is VERY appreciative of that.  He thinks everyone loves Rocky just as
much as he does.  And that tickles him to death.  Even though I tried
explaining to him why he was invited onto TV, I saw that he still didn't
get it when it was canceled because he said, "But mom!  Everyone knows
that people buy cats and dogs and hurt them.  Nobody knows that people
abuse ferrets and don't take care of them.  I wanted to tell them." Lol.
It doesn't matter if he doesn't understand why they are inspiring.  They
just are, by "being".
