I feed my ferrets a lot of rabbit (whole young rabbits), and to avoid
stashing, I do all my feeding while the ferrets are confined to their
cage...there is really no other way. Try your local reptile club for
rabbit sources...rabbits are feed for most medium-large snakes, and there
are plenty of people raising rabbits for just this purpose...feeding
whole, young rabbits is far more nutritious than just parts, and offers
little mess, with the ferrets consuming everything.
