I really don't have any mosquito tips to tell you other than you might want
to ask your vet about a combination heartworm/flea control medication called
SENTINEL.  I have used both products separately in the past and have just
started using it in this mixed combination for my DOG.  I do know they make
it for cats as well and I have seen both components discussed on the list.
In dogs, at least, it is only given once a month which is also a big plus!
I am obviously not a vet but in an area where heartworms are an issue I
think I would be concerned as well because mosquitoes certainly find their
way inside quite often.
 
I also would be interested in a safe repellent for fuzzies.  Anyone??
