I sent this little story to a friend, and thought I'd share it (lucky
you).  Enjoy my little ferret peenie story.
 
The other night, I panicked because I was holding Sean's new little
ferret when I noticed his "belly button" area looked odd.  It was puffy.
And ... well, it was puffy.  So I looked at it, and touched his stomach
above the area to see it better when something peeked out of that "belly
button".  AHG!  An alien ... it's going to eat me!  I jumped back.  I
looked again and there it was.  Looked like a dang, hooked bone or
something barely sticking out.  It hooked up towards the belly.  Really
sharp too.  Not that I play with peenies or anything (shut up), but I
took a closer look.  And I pushed on the surrounding area a bit ..  and
oh lord.  I got more than I bargained for.  Scott saw, came walking over
to me, yanked him out of my hands and scowled at me, "leave the poor
little guy alone!" I ran to the computer and IM'd Robin Jones (you know
the supposed ferret charmer.  ::roll of the eyes::).  "Do you know
anything about ferret penis's?  Oh my God, it's a real bone.  I mean
it's like a real bone, not like other animal penis's.  It could break.
And it's hooked.  Really hooked!  What if he gets hooked up on the cage
and it breaks or something (picture ferret hanging upside down by the
penis)????  What do I do?  I mean it's just sort of hanging/sticking out
now.  I'm scared to put him down on the floor.  What if he snags the rug
or scrapes something." It took her quite a while to calm me down.  I've
never seen that before.  I did see a whole ferret's penis very briefly
at the St Louis Symposium.  But it looked nothing like this.  That one
was ... ugly.  Big... shocking.  (Dr Karen had popped it out to show us
all (being the curious crowd).  You see Melinda T was quite unsuccessful
at trying to show us (the curious crowd) his male member (ooo, I could
say something there, muahahah).  All the while Melinda kept yammering
away about it trying to ejamacate us about ferret peenies as she held the
happy guy.) Maybe I just didn't get a good look at the "beginning of it".
I mean it sort of jumped out at us when Dr Karen performed her little
move there.  And I was so wigged out I quickly turned away.  And that's
my little experience, all of my experience, with ferret peenies.  Just
thought I'd ... share.
