I also have a ferret that has hairballs. A friend of mine is a vet tech,
and she knows all about this stuff. So I asked her what to do about it,
and she talked to the vet at the clinic she works at, and he gave us a gel
that they use on cats, to give to our ferts. On the instructions it says
a teaspoon per day, but with the ferts it is only a little on the tip of
the finger. 1 treat for ferts may be too much. Just tell your friend to
call her vet (or if she doesnt have one, a local vet) and ask. That is
the best thing she can do. :)

Good luck!
