Gail.  I can only say that for every decent person there are dozens that
suck.  I have worked with animals most of my life and i am still not
hardened to what some people do.  I will never , and you won't either ,
understand how someone could show up with a ferret in a fishtank who had
been"breathing like that for a year".  I could not lie down at night in
my comfy bed and really like myself if i had a ferret in the other room
living in a fishtank, with a 2 inch tumor on her face and "breathing like
that"... neither could you.  neither could anyone on this list.  But
there at more than enough people who can..
 
so when rescuers and shelters bicker remember what and who it is all
for.it is for the SNOWFLAKES out there.  ... I still can't get with
that"zoo " lady though.
