Linda Iroff asked about ferret sleeping positions.  I have a couple to offer:
 
*  rear on hammock, front curved 90 degrees to left (and down about 2 inches
to the cage floor) with head just resting inside a PVC tube
 
*  completely on hammock but on back with legs (all four) held up in the air
and head back ... not uncomfortable but EXTREMELY cute!
