Hi all :)

Thank you Michelle, Zen, Melissa (& Pot Pie:) ), and everyone else who
responded to me privately (who I hope I thanked privately!) for your
concern and info :)

After the many responses that loss on ONLY the tail may be other things
besides adrenal, I've decided to take action myself. She and Shnoog did
spend the last 3 weeks in my mother's ferret cage (my Mom isn't the
cleanest human on the earth, BY FAR), which is a nasty site to behold (I
did what I could but it's badly rusted), while we were in limbo moving from
one house to the other. I have some Oxy pads for my cat, who has chronic
feline acne. I think I'll start Oxy-ing her twice a day for a while, and
scrubbing her cage and washing her bedding every few days.

Thinking back, perhaps I did over-react a bit :-P It's just that we are out
of the Navy for the first time in 5 years (NO STEADY INCOME!), and we fear
any small problem that may come along. We've had MANY unexpected costs
arise recently, and bad luck with our cars. Our expectations (and hope)
have dropped DRASTICALLY due to all of these factors.

Now I guess we'll just sit and relax for a few weeks, and see what happens
to this little woman's tail :)

Thanks again, everyone :)
