Hi Marci, et.al.;

My 18 yo kitty Jimmy was about 2 days from the grave a month ago, & the
blood tests came back liver trouble & anemic. I treated with 1cc non
alcohol milk thistle extract, standardized, and 2cc of pet tinic, oral,
twice daily for a week, then once daily. This week a re-check said ALL
blood levels NORMAL! :) The usage for regenerating the liver is common to
people, ferrets & about all mamals, so I'd expect good results with ferrets
also.. The milk thistle might be mixed with some ferretone for taste.
Timmy was rx'd 1/2cc pet tinic 2x/day when he had the lympho, and since your
Odie seems pretty low it probably would be a good idea also.

You might want to consider a more comprehensive recipe to feed him like
Timmy's recipe which is on his web page in my sig., below. The Deliver 2.0
talked about is the highest calorie per ounce liquid on the planet, that's
also certified for tube feeding in humans.

You guys are in my prayers for a good recovery:)
