After pre-distributing some posts to several of the people involved most
of those subscribers have decided not to comment further and to withdraw
their posts.  Or at least to suggest that withdrawing the posts wouldn't
be too upsetting.  Since I think the discussion is no longer productive
I wasn't at all upset in withdrawing those posts...
