Hello everyone. :)

Before going into total detail about the nasty poops..let me tell you
about the last vet visit.. I took a sample in because (over time) both
of my fuzzies have had diarrhea, but it's really weird. It changes all
the time.. So anyways, they floated it and it turned out that there were
no nasty parasites or anything (whew!), but to make sure he gave me a
Interceptor pill for each of them to take in case something didn't show
up. He told me if their diarrhea didn't straighten up, to try switching
their foods. That was a little over a month ago. Their poop continued
to be strange so I switched them to Totally Ferret, as I've heard it's
really good. Well..still no improvement...

But anyhow, onto the poops. Sometimes it's just *regular* diarrhea,
other times it's mucousy or slimy. Sometimes it's green and slimy, and
even it's been red when I soaked it up on a paper towel.. It switches
all the time, sometimes it looks like big pieces of something or another
comes out with it too. This worries me really bad, sorry to be gross
or anything. The vet is really good and all, but it seems maybe he's
overlooking something? Could these strange poops be ECE? I checked
Ferrets for Dummies and in the section on ECE, they have all those
symptoms except for the dehydration one I think..and only sometimes
they're really lethargic/super sleepy. Maybe I'm overdoing things,
but it just seems they might have ECE or maybe something else?

On to nipping.. my female, Suu, is a real *nipper* but maybe a biter.
She doesn't do it to be mean I don't think. First she'll lick you then
she'll bite, and it HURTS! Never draws blood though. I've tried
scruffing and hissing, dragging them along a bit (like a mother ferret
would..) trying vinegar/bitter apple/lim, and using time out..nothing
seems to work. I've been really consistent too, and I've got her every
time she even attempted, with no luck.. Is there any other way possibly
to keep her from nipping/biting?

Any and ALL ideas/help/suggestions, feel free to post here or email me
back. I could use all the info anyone could give me! Thanks in advance
to anyone who replies! :)
