ferret swallowed a pin

My ferret swallowed a pin..  I discovered it cleaning up after him..
what should I do..  He seems ok..  and I dont notice any blood in his
stools but Im not happy about this..  Please write..  should I take
him to the vet?  Im not sure which one for sure did it--- Ihave my
theories...
