A quick question for the good Doctors...
Can ferrets contract the Epstein-Barr Virus from humans? I have
mononucleosis, and am wondering what signs to watch for if ferrets are
susceptible to EBV. Charlotte and Kitka had what I believe was ECE 6 months
and are still not 100%. Would the possibility of their immune systems not
being up to par make a difference? In people there is a 30-50 day
incubation period. What about ferrets? Thanks in advance for your
information. Paula
