Up until last week we didn't know there was such a thing as mailing list
for ferrets..... We lost a ferret to insulinoma a few monthes ago.  Living
in a small town in Oklahoma none of the vets even knew what it was.  sure
ask about horses or cows ,dogs or cats, but not ferrets.  In desperation I
went to the internet and found you.  Needless to say the vet was in wonder
as well - and now he reads too.
 
Unfortunatly by then it was too late and we last her.  The Vet was great -
he really wanted to learn more and it was evident by as the sheer amount of
time he spent on the poor little thing.  And afterwrds he seemed amazed
that I actually wanted him to do a post mortum to find t exactly what
happened.  Needless to say we both learned a lot.
 
Anyway suffice to say - You people are providing a verry valuable service
and my only regret is that we didn't have the computer and the ability to
find you sooner........
