I have had people ask about sending email cards.

His computer is by the bed but Mike is too often now not well enough to
use it. If people send email cards his address will become over loaded
so then when he is well enough he will have the pain of an over-loaded
mailbox. He doesn't need that now.

It's difficult to impossible to think of any ferret people Mike hasn't
helped. Even vet articles and sites by veterinarians tend to quote or
link to Mike's Miami Ferret site because he is so able to grasp medical
problems and then write clear and balanced concise information which
anyone can understand. Few professional writers have his level of
ability, and his grasp of the health information for many ferret health
concerns exceeds that of so very many of us.

For so many years Mike has saved ferrets, with work to help shelters
and in getting health information out there. Just think of how many
times the best answer to a question is to refer a person to part of
Mike's work on the Ferret Health List, or to one of his own write-ups
on his Miamiferret site, or to one of the veterinarian's articles which
he has hosted on that same site.

Every one of us here has a debt to Mike, I think, so, please, get some
stamps, write a letter or buy a card, maybe send a photo if you have
one handy, and put them into the mail/post box to help Mike during
this time.
