Okay, now I AM confused!! The three vaccines that are/were approved
for ferrets are:
   1. FROMM-D : safe, approved for ferrets, but no longer
                  manufactured.
   2.  GALAXY-D:  substituted for FROMM-D, safety factor
                  questionable, not approved for ferrets.
   3. FERVAC-D: safety factor questionable, approved for ferrets

In a previous posting Dr. Williams stated that he used FERVAC-D for his
personal ferrets. I have used FROMM-D with no reactions, GALAXY-D with
no reactions, and am now using FERVAC-D with no reactions, so far
(fingers X'd). I do keep a couple bottles of Epinephrine on hand, just
in case; but so far I've been lucky. It seems to me that we really
don't have much choice as to what brand of vaccine we can give our
fuzzies. I would rather go with a vaccine that has been approved for
ferrets than one that has not. Doctors, what is your opinion on this?
Inquiring minds want to know!!  :-}

Thanks!! Patty and the Beggars & Thieves Ferrets
