Difference between Ferretvite/tone?

What is the nutritional difference between Ferretone and Ferretvite?  I
know that the 'tone' is liquid and the 'vite' is like a gel.  If your
critter is getting one do they need the other?  I give Chloe a daily squirt
of the recommended dose of 'vite' on her food, of course she loves it.
Just curious...thanks for any info.
