Hello all,

Well, I have finally gotten it together, and put together the answers to
the three "Shelter Solutions" questions that were sent out (much) earlier
this year. For those who may be new to the list, Bob Church had a list of
several questions/problems that he felt were important to find solutions
for. These problems were those that he had noted in several trips around
the country while visiting shelters. He proposed that someone volunteer
to post each question separately, collect and collate the answers and send
them back to the list with the idea that multiple minds working on a
problem can solve it. I and a couple others volunteered to do this.
"Shelter Solutions" was the result. BIG has the collated post now and he
will be sending it out, probably over the upcoming Labor Day weekend as a
special issue. I truly hope that shelters (and individuals too) will find
it useful.

Cheers,
Karen

"The snake is an animal. It has a backbone and heart. It has red blood and
drinks water and eats food. It breathes air and feels fear, just like every
other animal in the world. And it's in a body that is the hardest thing for
the average person to understand."
