Your story about Daphne touched me and I cannot stop crying.  I am so sorry
for your loss, you are a very brave soul.  I know how hard it is to go
through watching an animal deteriorate without being able to do anything
beyond what you already have.
 
I also understand when you say that she was your child.  My ferrets are my
children too and I would never let anything happen to them.
 
My heart goes out to you.  Thank you for being such a great ferret mom.
