In my area, Totally Ferret is not available. Getting a bag up to Canada
has proven to cost over $70 a bag because of shipping costs based on
weight. This includes the conversion from Canadian $ to American $. We
are hoping to work out a deal some day but in the meantime, we have to
buy a mix of kitten foods, and some ferret foods.

Our local PetSmart got in the Marshall farms brand of ferret food, so I
decided to try a bag... more as a test than anything. When I got home
with my $279 worth of various foods, I realized the Marshall farms ferret
food had a "special toy" included in the bag.

Upon opening it, I found what they called a "SuperChew Ferret Toy". It
turned out to be a star-shaped, 10 pointed Cheweasel. It even has a hole
in it for hanging from a string...

I'm sure that since Marshall Farms is American that those of you who live
in the good old US of A, have had this promotion go through already. For
us Canucks, this is a first. For me, since I have to mail order
Cheweasels, this was a way to give my guys a try. Hell, I even gave it a
try... pretty tasty I might add. Texture was also appealing. I even had
hubby try it... He looked at it and said, "Then those are your bite marks
then, and not the ferrets I assume!" After gentle persuasion, he gave it a
lick... and another... and another... "Okay, okay! Enough already! Drop
the Cheweasel", I cry. "It's not a Cheweasel... it's a SuperChew Ferret
Toy!", he replies still not stopping the sampling. I finally had to rip it
out of his hands. I didn't have the heart to tell him that I had already
offered it to the ferrets and all they did was stash it in various places
around the house... giggle, giggle.

Does the 6 second rule count if you don't see directly where it lands?
