Ferret Greetings,

Just a few little notes and a question.

First the question: What is Alleutian's Disease? I recently reorganized
past FML's and made up an overall index in order to be able to find things
easier and came across a mention of Alleutian's Disease. Anyway, I have no
idea what that is so could someone clue me in.

To Liz Luc:
I applaud your convictions concerning Baby. I would love to take him as I
am a stay-at-home mom and Kalie is in need of a playmate. And your Baby
sounds like a wonderful ferret. However, I have a hubby and a 5 yo son at
home, two males in the house and my dad loves to snuggle up to fuzzies when
he visits so that leaves me out as a prospect. Bummer. I need a good dose
of ferret math. :-) Good luck with finding the little nipper a home and I
think you have come to the right place.

To Maggie May:
I am a Stephen King fan and was looking forward to watching "Quicksilver
Highway." Unfortunately I forgot it was on and am not home Tuesday nights,
Karate class. So I didn't even remember to set the VCR. Did you happen to
tape the movie?

In fact, did anyone happen to tape it and would you be willing to send a
copy my way? I can provide a blank tape for you to use for the copy.
Please let me know.

Elizabeth:
Your dad is extremely lucky to have you! I hope he knows that. :-) Hope
all goes well with his trip and good luck at State.

One more thing, no one has responded to my question about Michigan's
classification of ferrets. Are they considered exotic or domestic pets.
From the sounds of Kodo's troubles ferrets are most likely classified as
exotic pets. Also, I sent out a query to Reader's Digest concerning the
current plight of ferrets and the people they own and the battles to change
the circumstances in various areas. If they say they are interested I hope
I will be able to count on all of you to help steer me in the right
direction for info and possibly provide me with interviews. :-) And Kim
Hastings: Who did you contact and who gave you the info for Montana's rabies
policy concerning ferrets?

Sorry so long. But trying to catch up is rough.

Ferret hugs,
Donelle: stay home mom and freelance writer
Christian, the daddy
Sebastian <when can we get more ferrets?>
Kalie <Why can't I play in the garbage can?>

[P.S.] I forgot to say best wishes to everyone and prayers for all the
fuzzies. Those who are healthy, sick, and already at the Bridge.

Ferret hugs,
Donelle
