My ferrets absolutely love to spend time outdoors taking leisurely walks on
their harnesses and getting all the attention from passers by.  However, a
word of caution here.  Depending on where you live <I live in the South and
do we ever have a mosquito problem here> I would think twice about letting
your fuzzie outdoors for any extended period of time unless you have them
on heart worm medication.  Then there is the issue of canine distemper so
shots are a must.  Just wanted to put my input to a post I read about the
benefits of outdoor activities for your ferret.  --Diane--
