Is there a way one can feel to see if a fuzzy's adrenal glands are
swollen? If so how and where would I do this? I took one of my fuzzies
a few months back to have him checked because I thought it might be an
issue. The vet said he didn't think it was by feeling him and said that
he was probably too young to have it (he is aprox 2 years old). He is
beginning to scratch and chew a lot around the sides of his abdomen in
the area of his back legs, and I think that is where the glands are,
right? He is loosing hair in those spots and his tail, but some is
already coming back... so I suspected it was just from chewing and
scratching (and no he doesn't have fleas, already checked thoroughly).
Should I be worried? I have read a lot about ferrets, but I am so unsure
on this... should I find a second opinion so-to-speak at another vet?

Help. I am worried about my baby.
