Hi Sunbird,
I'm proud to say myself and my two adorable little fuzzies live in upstate
New York, Rochester to be exact. Ive found NY to be pretty ferret friendly.
At one time you needed a license, but they took that law off the books, and
its just as normal here to have a carpet shark as it is to have a cat or a
dog! Just as in all animals, its always good when traveling to keep at
least a copy of up to date distemper and rabies shots on you at all times.
Its a safety thing for both you and the ferrets, not to mention anyone who
might question them as you are traveling. Have a great trip! If you are
coming up this way, let me know... The fuzzies and I can show you around the
area!
