Another snow story: When we got our first snow, I took Sarah out to see
her reaction. She very daintily lifted each foot and shook it, one
after another until I picked her up and put her on the porch upon which
she bolted for the door back inside, which is strange because normally
she loves being on the porch. I guess she's not the snow weasel type.

David&Susan: Your story reminded me of a screen story. When Sarah
was about 1 & 1/2, I came home from work to find that she wasn't in`
her room. After careful search, I found a tiny corner of the screen
had been torn away. The window was a basement window and nothing was
left but little ferret tracks in the mud. I went door to door and
luckily found her. She had run right through the door of our neighbors'
house and jumped on their child and started licking his face. Luckily,
these people were animal people, so they didn't freak out. All's well
that ends well, but I don't let her near screens anymore.
