My daughter found a light sable female ferret last night.  She picked it up
and brought it home thinking it was one of ours.  We live in Silver Spring,
MD.  The Snowdens's Mill Area.  She's in pretty bad shape....skin and bones.
She is drinking water, but not eating.  I will be making Duck Soup for her
today to see if I can get her to eat.  If you know of anyone who has lost
her, please have them contact me.  We've already posted signs in the
neighborhood.  I will attempt to nurse her back to health (hopefully it's
not too late).  If she makes it, I will not be able to keep her...got too
many critters of my own at this point.  Can anyone provide me the name of
a shelter in the area?  Any suggestions for putting some meat back on her
little bones would also be appreciated.
