The ferret segment on the CBS Evening News is still planned at this time.
 
All you can do is stay tuned -- and hope for a slow news day where they need
some filler.
 
Keep in mind there is always the risk that a story can be dropped
altogether.  But as far as anyone knows -- Jeanne Carley recently spoke with
the CBS reporter -- they're still working on the piece.
 
Sorry you can't be given a "date certain."  Such is the life when dealing
with the press!
