Ha!  Good luck!  My ferret was placed on Metronizadol about 6 months ago
as part of ulcer/ibd/helicobacter treatment.  He would foam at the mouth
and thrash around... not good.  It is horrible and there isn't really
much to do about it.  I would give him Nutri-Cal right before and then
right after to help keep most of it down.  This seemed to lessen that
awful taste for him.
