Many years ago I boarded my ferrets at a vet in FL. They bathed the
ferrets and gave them a mat in their cage. It had sewn channels in it.
Two ferrets got inside the channel pocket. The first one could not be
saved, but a vet tech who was checking on animals during the evening
was able to save the second one. I guess I could add that when boarding
specify that only your bedding be used.
