I just joined the list yesterday, and thought that I'd introduce myself.
I don't have a ferret yet, but I'm working on it.  I've actually been
interested in them for a few years, but the web has really made it easy
for me to get information, and now I have information to go along with
the interest.
 
I do have one rather tough obsticle to overcome - my wife.  Whenever
we've seen ferrets at the mall, she looks at them with disgust and calls
them "rats".  She won't even discuss it with me, and last night we had a
couple of hurt feelings over some things said regarding ferrets.  Does
anyone have any ideas that might help let her become informed, or anyone
have a story where someone discovered that they actually like ferrets
instead of hating them?  Background:  She loves dogs, likes cats, and we
have an (almost) 3 year old daughter who is very gentle with animals.
Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thank you in advance!  =)
