Has anyone come across a cat litter which is made of silica gel pellets?

I recently saw some in my local supermarket and was wondering about it's
suitability for ferrets.

The manufacturer claims it won't stick to your pet like clay based litters

I have seen a similar substance used in hospitals (in bedpans to avoid
spillages) and seems to work well there.

Thanks
