Your pregnant gill should be fed normaly for the first 2 weeks, then
gradually increase her dietary protien, vitamins and minerals. Here in the
UK, i feed flesh, which has pretty much every thing in it. What you want
to avoid is getting her overfat, as this will cause birthing problems.

The crucial time for you will be the day she is due to have the kits. I
cannot stress strongly enough the need to leave her to do it herself.
Disturbance will cause her to panic and eat her own kits. You will know
when they are born, you will hear them mewing. At this point, have a quiet
look in the cage, to see that all is well, but DONT TOUCH THE KITS. They
will then smell of you, and she will eat them.

Once they are feeding, your gill will need plenty of water, and the best
diet possible, to produce quality milk for her kits.

You have taken on a huge responsibility here, so do the job right. You
will, however, end up with possibly 10 ferrets from this mating, all
needing plenty of food as they grow. I hope for their sake you have an
endless supply of good food, and quality time.

Dont hesitate to ask for more advice.
