I wanted to let folks know that Richard contacted the AFA last week.
Penny Hendrix, the president, took the call and asked for my help. I
emailed a number of shelters in Wa and Wannabe Wild Weasels has
graciously sent Richard several small bags of ferret food.

I contacted the ferret store and used Oxford Ferret Rescue's account
and Penny Hendrix paid for a bag of the ferret store food to be shipped
to him! The ferret store gave me a little break on the shipping but it
was still almost $21 to ship the food.

If any shelter in his area could contact him and allow him to buy food
from them that would be such a help to him. He loves his ferrets and
wants to keep them! And of course if anyone else can help that would
be such a big help to him!

Thanks to Penny for paying $40 for a bag of food and to Paula (Wannabe)
for shipping him some food at her expense!
