Hi again!  Dis here's Laska and I thought I'd take a second to tell ya'll
all 'bout my new brudder and sister.  Mom wanted me to say a special thank
you to "aunt" Kaye for takin' such good care of dem and to Linda and
Stephanie for bringin' dem to us.
 
Snickers is da boy.  He's much bigger than me.  Mom and Dad say he's very
handsome, whatever dat means.  He likes to pick on me, but the joke's on
him, cause I like him to chase me.  Detmer isn't too happy with him, cause
he's afraid of losin' his #2 spot.  Mom says she's goin' to have ta get some
bitter stuff to put on Snicker's neck so Detmer learns not to bite.  Sarah
is da special ferret from some place called Fredonia.  She gets along wif me
as long as she's sleepin'.  She's startin' to play a little now.  When she
first came, she only slept.  Now she's explorin' and goin' into boxes and
bags.  Mom says she has very good manners and hasn't bitten anyone (she
hasn't talked to me yet).  We went to da park and she wanted to play in
Mom's shirt instead of on da ground, silly girl!  Mom says I have ta be
extra nice to her and show her how to play and have fun.  She's got chasin'
me thru the dryer tube down real good!
 
Well, I gotta take sock inventory now.  It's been nice talkin' to you
peoples.
