Early Saturday morning, Charlie became gravely ill. By Sunday night he
couldn't eat or drink comfortably, and was too weak to walk more than a
few steps. We helped him to the Rainbow Bridge at approximately 8:00 p.m.
Charlie was 2 1/2 years old and had been clinically ill with Aleutian
disease since he was 8 months old. The loss of his sweet face and
"charming" personality is so very difficult...

From the day Bob C first brought Charlie to me, Charlie taught me an
enormous amount about ferrets. I miss him terribly...

Aleutian disease DOES kill.

Judy
