Karen: If fluid is accumulating in Ben's belly, that is NOT what is usually
referred to as Pred belly.  Pred belly refers to a pot-bellied, thin
skinned appearance resulting from high dose, long term pred use, but there
is not fluid accumulation.  Fluid accumulation is called ascites and the
likely causes are either the lymphoma or undiagnosed heart disease.  If Ben
doesn't tolerate the diuretic, there is likely to be little you can do...
