This is for Wolfy, asking about the rate of deaf ferrets..with the 1 being
rather slow, and 5 being super smart ferret....or would that be super
determined? LOL.

Anyways, I have 2 completly deaf ferrets, one panda/blaze female, and one
silver panda male. I also have a panda/blaze male that i believe to be
partially deaf, and another (i dont know what he is-dark sable looking,
with white knee patches) male, who is either partially deaf, or really
good at pretending.

Just speaking of the two that are totally deaf, my female, Delilah would
be classified as a 3 i suppose. She is totally determined and hard headed
when it comes to ceratin things. She spends alot of *jail time* because
of her determination to escape into forbidden parts of the house. But, on
the training level, ya might as well forget it, she is untrainable in
doing tricks...now, the litter pan is another subject, she does VERY well
inside and outside of the cage. She hits about 85% of the time...

O.k...onto the deaf male, Casey. Im just going to say Casey would be
about a 3 as well. I havent really tried to train him on anything yet,
but, hes atleast an 85/90% on litter box in and out of cage, and seems to
respond very well to movement. He's still quiet the young fella...got
him around Christmas, and from my experience, it seems that sometimes the
young ones dont have enough patience to be trained for tricks quiet
yet...heck, it takes me atleast till there 6 months to get them interested
in Ferretone...LOL.

Anyways, not sure if i really helped or not, i just like talkin about my
babies...
