Go to www.ferretcentral.org and there is so much great info, and they
have it in different languages, and they have it in your language- that
is a good place to start. If you don't have web access, I could get it
to you, just let me know.

No offense, but I don't think you should be writing the book unless you
are willing to be unbiased with the info. you present. For example, your
opinion on never spaying a ferret. There are many circumstances where
spaying would be medically needed. You have to realize if you write
something that is only your opinon of how things should be, it may hurt
someone else's ferret. You need to not print opinions, but facts and
information that is proven to be true. Information that is from vets, or
people who have tons of experience.

I do believe that you care about your ferret and have done a lot to learn
what you could about ferrets. However, you are young, and have very
limited experience. I mean one ferret for less than a year is not enough
to pass on to the rest of ferret owners. If you do this project make sure
you get someone with lots of experience to help you edit the book, and be
open minded to the suggestions even if it isn't what you believe. Be
willing to learn and if you don't agree with someone just do some research-
I mean real research, not asking on this forum, but going to the library,
internet web sites on ferrets, buying vet books and other books about
ferrets and reading a lot.

Good luck to you and your jill,
Patty
