Dear Deb:

Good to hear from you again - it's been a while. I knew a bunch of vets
were lurking around here.

I guess I am indulging my addiction again on the FML!

FML - Dr. Kemmerer, although she is too modest to admit it, is one of the
leading ferret vets in the country (now don't besiege her with email -
she has a right to her life as the rest of us.) Dr. K wrote the book on
heartworm disease in ferrets, and we still quote chapter and verse from
her.

If you live in Florida, and she is not on your Rolodex, shame on you.

Yes, practicing vets often need to charge consultation fees - me, I'm a
salaried government employee, so don't judge all vets by me!!! We're
lucky to have such great vets listening in!!!!

All the best, Deb!

Bruce
