As just about everyone knows, at one time or another, they will
become infected, with the Ferret Math Virus. Soon afterwards, it
is discovered, there is no known cure, for the FMV.

Now, a well known Ferret Veterinarian has discovered the cause of the
FMV and how it is passed from a ferret to a human. It is done by the
Mustelid Mind Meld, as soon as a person is anywhere near a ferret. The
MMM is similar to the Vulcan Mind Meld, except it does not require
physical touching. This is why it is so dangerous and effective.

The ferret goes into the MMM Mode and starts sending out powerful
thought waves, which the intended victim has no defense. Within a
minute or so, the human victim feels the strong urge to adopt the
ferret, sometimes two or more, at the same time.

If the ferret is not adopted, at the time of the MMM, an implanted
thought is left in the mind of the human. The only way to get rid of
the implanted thought is to go back and adopt the ferret. I know this
is true, because of the way I adopted Gabrielle (Gabby), Jezzabelle
(Jezzy), Nipper and Sheela.

With Gabby, her adoption was the next day. I could not resist her cute
Dooking Sounds.

With Jazzy, her adoption was a hour later, after I shopped at Wal-Mart.

With Nipper, his adoption was before I could leave, right after he
nipped my nose.

With Sheela, her adoption was the next week, when she was scheduled to
be shipped back to Marshall's, as being unadoptable, due to Fear Biting.
